The Fetzer Institute is a nonprofit private operating foundation that supports research, education, and service programs exploring the integral relationships among body, mind, and spirit. Our current program focus includes the areas of science, leadership, integral practice, and philanthropy.
Work at the Fetzer Institute focuses on the importance of wholeness to individuals and communities. We search for emerging elements in the world that have the potential to harness spirit, imagination, and energy and move culture in a direction that is healthy, diverse, and whole.

Created in 1960, The Skillman Foundation is a private grantmaking foundation that is a charitable, tax-exempt organization. Like most private foundations, Skillman does not raise money but uses its resources to support other nonprofit (501(c)(3) tax exempt) organizations.
The Skillman Foundation's primary goals are to improve children's homes, schools, and neighborhoods so that they are good places for children. Our geographic area is metropolitan Detroit, defined as Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties in southeastern Michigan, with a concentration in the city of Detroit.

The Compton Foundation was founded to address community, national and international concerns in the fields of Peace & World Order, Population, and the Environment. Other concerns of the Foundation include Equal Educational Opportunity, Community Welfare & Social Justice, and Culture & the Arts. It focuses most of its grant-making in the areas of Peace & World Order, Population, and the Environment, with special emphasis on projects that explore the interconnections between these three categories.
